Dear Servas Friends (Servas National Member Countries and propective Member countries)
I have printed Servas International Stamps for 2006. I start posting and some of you will receive stamps soon. I will not post the countries that have not sent their "Stamp Payment Form (SPF)" for 2004. Also the countries that has no travelers. I hope these countries will have Traveler soon. Please write an e-mail whenever you need stamps or you have any problem.
What is New
- Color of 2006 is "Schönbrunn Yellow".

Why "Schönbrun Yellow"?
There was a Servas pathway together in Italy Alpines. Luigi Uslengi, one of the founders of Servas , organized that great meeting. We decided to join this meeting and on the way we went to Vienna and visited Eva (Co-National Secretary of Servas ). She and her daughter Christine welcomed us and enjoy Vienna. When we were walking in Schönbrunn Palace, I asked: - Can you give an advice for Color of Stamp for 2006? She said: why not Schönbrunn Yellow, it is very typical for Vienna… Eva explained that many people painted their houses in the same color as the imperial summer palace (a warm, dark yellow) to be "fashionable" during the days of the Habsburgs… I hope Stamp yellow matches Schönbrunn Yellow :-)
Who helped for operation?
Begining of November I have a Traveler from . I am sure most of you know them; Frits and Margret Sturman. Frits Sturman was the SI General Secretary for 2001 and 2004. They are so nice Servas family. I hope one day I can visit . When I started posting process they helped me for address writing and we did it very quickly. Thank you Dear Frits and Margret. It was so nice with you.
What to do when receive the stamps for 2006
POST TO TREASURER ADDRESS (HSBC Bank Büyükdere Cad. 122/B Esentepe 34394 Istanbul )
- Unused Stamps
- Filled the Stamp Payment Form (SPF)
- Pay the amount that you calculate for Payment to Swiss Bank Account in the Form
- With Peace and Love
