SI MONTHLY NEWS May 2007 Languages - Peace

From SI Exco News

Servas Monthly News has now been going for 2 years. During that time we have looked at some of the languages in the world. We have thought about the word for Peace.

Here is the word Peace written in a number of languages. At the bottom of the page are the languages they come from. Can you work out which is which? Hint I have used all the ones given in Servas Monthly News and some more. For some languages the word is the same, so there are more countries than words.

For all the languages I have used the European script. So apologies to those countries who have their own script or characters.

Send the answers to newsletter@servas.org No prizes but a commendation in Servas Monthly News for those who send the answers in.
