New National Secretary for Servas Korea
New Year's day and Warm Greetings from Servas Korea.
It is my honour and privilege to be National Secretary of Servas Korea. My tenure begins the 1st of January 2007 for 3 years, can be re-elected one more term by the Servas Korea Constitution.
During the time, I have been working as Peace Secretary with the former NS Mr. Eum, whose devotion to Servas Korea, I respect. It most urges me to do more work for Servas Korea.
I still keep the valuable Outreaching kits of Servas US, of the round pin printed 'Ask me about Servas' and the red pen printed United States Servas, 'Hosts and travellers building peace thru cross-cultural understanding' www.usservas.org ' and the business card. And other printed materials too.
I am retiree now from 37 years of Public high school teaching, which means I can travel more and I can spare more time for the peace building campaign. First of all, with the materials you gave me, I want to set up, Servas Interviewers Kit of Servas Korea.
If possible, I want to work with the Servas International staff some years later, may my work as NS of Servas Korea will attract that kind of job, of course with your kind help.
Mr Nishiyama and I have been working for the April FEA Meeting. He suggests that you might be coming to and how nice! We are really looking forward to seeing you in this country.
In Peace and Servas.
