Human Rights Council Message February 22 2013
Human Rights Council 19th Session in Geneva (February 27 to March 23 2012)
UN SI Servas representatives in Geneva were able to attend several HRC meetings and cosigned a joint NGOs statement stressing the importance of human rights education and training.
In effect, on December 19 2011, the UN General Assembly adopted a resolution reaffirming "that every individual and every organ of society shall strive by teaching and education to promote respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms.
