EGA 2006 5th april day 3
From SI Exco News
Buon giorno Latina 2006! Dit gaan ‘n goeie dag wees! (Afrikaans) issue: Thursday 6th April 2006
HELP US PLEASE! DO YOU KNOW ANY ORGANISATIONS THAT WOULD BE GOOD FOR US?
The Servas Youth Language Experience’ (SYLE) started in 2004, when I was a young guy from South America (I am still a young guy from there!) but anyway, I said to myself ‘what wiould a young person appreciate more then hosting?’ . . . LANGUAGES! So I invited a young traveler to Rosario, Argentina and we hosted with food, accommodation, Spanish classes, activities etc. for one month. No money was exchanged and it was a real hit. SYLE is now growing!
This July young travellers will be received + hosted in Argentina, Mexico & Brazil and have similar languages experiences. I’m working closely with Canada (Vancover + Montreal areas). So hopefully we will progress to a Spanish, Portuguese, English and French travel-language-learning hosting experience. Want to help/get involved? Contact me

FRIENDLY SUGGESTION FOR SERVAS
Spirited words: Instead of Summer university – lets us say – Servas Gathering or Servas Gettogether.
Vibeke
PS: I love to attend what ever you call it though.
WELCOME Belgium and
Luxemburg are two small
counties in the heart of
Europe. Form Brussels, our
capital, you can reach
Amsterdam, Paris and
London in couple of hours.
Isn’t that great! More than
300 hosts in the cities and in
the countryside are waiting
for your visit. A warm
welcome would be extended
to you and is in fact
guaranteed!
With love Rita DESSAUVAGE – Belgium & Luxemburg.
Please plan a visit soon!
HAVING PEACE WITHIN
ONESELF IS THE FIRST
STEP TOWARDS UNIVERSAL
PEACE.

Acquaintance - a person whom we know well enough to borrow from, but not well enough to lend to!
COULD YOU . . . . . .?
Do more than just exist, live!
Do more than " look, observe.
Do more than hear, listen.
Do more than think, ponder.
Do more than touch, feel.
Do more than read, absorb.
Do more than listen, try to understand.
Do more than complain; try to say something constructive!
