A Greeting from The Executive Committee of Servas International

In these times of global unrest, it is all the more important that as many as possible should have first-hand experience of communicating on real issues with people from other cultures.

We share the concern that human obligations and rights must be respected by all, and we wholeheartedly support the efforts of such organizations as the Red Cross / Red Crescent and Amnesty International in proactively monitoring the respect of human rights in a neutral way, independent of partisan politics and of prejudices.

We believe that the many person-to-person contacts involving Servas travellers and hosts are an important contribution to world peace. Servas is open to your suggestions on how we can better contribute to achieving our inevitable goal: peace and understanding on our planet earth.

If you have questions about Servas, please see our FAQ page.

For the national web pages of other countries, please see our member countries page. Information in Russian is available here, Information in Urdu is available here.
